Heading 2: Diet- What I eat
A good thing to know about elephants is that they are herbivores ( that means they won’t eat you!). Following that they are herbivores they spend 80% to 90% of their day eating that's almost your whole day!Plus they devour about 300 pounds of food a day. Speaking of food they eat grass, leaves, branches, tree bark, seeds and plants. Did you know, that elephants use their trunk to breath, drink and pick up food. They also produce milk for their young up to 3 years. Elephants get their food by ripping grass from the ground and pulling leaves from trees. Finally, elephants eat no meat, produce milk to their babies and collect food in a different way.
